terptree seeking more BSL/English Interpreters!!!

Our network of Language Service Professionals is integral to everything we do here at terptree, and we'd like to thank all of you for providing us with such an excellent service.

We'd like you to be the first to hear about some exciting new interpreting assignments we have secured across London and the Home Counties, so read on to find out more!

Health assignments

UCLH
terptree believes that it is essential that the 50,000 deaf people who communicate using British Sign Language
have access to professional, high quality BSL/English interpreting services in healthcare settings.

Many of your will already know that we currently we hold the contract for supplying Berkshire NHS Trust.
We are now very pleased to announce that we are working with University College London Hospital NHS Trust, Kings College Hospital NHS Trust, Lewisham NHS Trust, and 12 other community health sites across London.
We are looking to increase the number of registered interpreters interested in working at these sites and would welcome any new registrations to our online booking system
If you are already registered, please log in to ensure your profile is up to date!
To receive personalised assignment alerts direct to your inbox, ensure that you have subscribed to our booking service. This is located within in the 'Edit Profile' tab.

Police Assignments
NRCPD
It is essential that interpreters used in criminal proceedings are fully registered professionals of the highest competence. We recognise the importance
of fully briefing interpreters, including completing risk assessments, to afford you the opportunity to consider any moral, competence or ethical considerations before agreeing to accept the assignment.

We are now working with police stations in the following regions: Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Essex, Hertfordshire, and Bedfordshire.
We need experienced RSLIs to register with us to help fulfill these assignments. Please contact terptree to discuss your experience, fees and terms.
We are particularly interested in hearing from RSLIs who are prepared to work short notice out of hours bookings (18.00 - 08.00), so please get in touch!

Online booking service update

Online Booking SystemAs many of you will already be aware, terptree has an innovative online booking system which runs through our website www.terptree.co.uk

Interpreters can register their details and log in to view available jobs and apply online. You can even get personalised email alerts direct to your inbox, allowing you to tailor the type of assignments you receive.

We hope to announce some exciting changes to the website in the coming months, including a complete redesign! The expected result is a user-friendly site that will be more intuitive, easier to navigate and compatible with most smart phones and tablets to allow you easy access whilst on the move.

We will also have the ability to register interest on your behalf if you only have time to give us a quick yes or no.

We hope the updated design and improved functionality will make it easier for you to work with terptree in the future. In anticipation of the re-launch we would like to invite any interpreters who are not currently registered with us at www.terptree.co.uk, to log on and register your details so you're ready to go as soon as the new site goes live.

If you are already registered with us, please take a moment to log on and check that all of your personal information is up to date and that you have opted to receive email alerts by clicking 'Subscribe to booking service' within in the 'Edit Profile' tab.

If you've forgotten your username and/or password, please email interpreting@terptree.co.uk where we will be happy to help.
